My name is Lydia, I was born and raised in Kiambu County, Kenya.
I have experienced a lot of challenges in my life recently. I was diagnosed with depression on my second year of high school. Due to lack of funds, my family could not afford treatment and my condition kept worsening. I dropped out of school and preferred to stay away from people. I mostly rely on well-wishers to support me with medication as well as facilitating my clinic visits for reviews in the local hospital. Most of the times, It’s hard to meet my basic needs including medication.
I am therefore kindly appealing for support from well-wishers to help me achieve my vision that aims to ensure a brighter future for me and my family. I aspire to establish a small income generating business that will not only guarantee my own sustenance but also create a foundation for a better life.
This support will also enable my family and I, access improved food security and nutrition as well as the much-needed healthcare and hence improve the quality of my life.
