My name is Musa Sinyok, a 60-year-old woman who was born and raised in northern Kenya. I come from a nomadic family that moved frequently, searching for pastures and water for their animals. Most of my life has been spent taking care of my children and husband, who passed away a few years ago. For many years, I have relied on livestock as my primary source of income. Unfortunately, climate change has resulted in prolonged droughts, and I recently lost all my livestock because of this.
Currently, my family and I are struggling to make ends meet, and I am forced to depend on scarce manual jobs to provide for them. Accessing healthcare is almost impossible due to scarce resources. In light of this, I am kindly seeking your support in setting up a small but sustainable livelihood income-generating activity (IGA) that will help me live a better life.
