My name is Sintoi. I am 80 years old and was born and raised in northern Kenya.

I come from a nomadic family that moved often in search of pasture and water for our animals. Most of my life has been devoted to caring for my husband and children. Sadly, my husband passed away a few years ago.

For many years, I relied on livestock as my main source of income. But due to prolonged droughts, I recently lost all my animals. Life has become extremely difficult, and my family and I are now struggling to survive. At my age, I am no longer strong, but I still take on occasional manual jobs just to get by.

Access to healthcare is nearly impossible because of limited resources. That’s why I’m kindly asking for your support to help me start a small, sustainable income-generating activity (IGA). This would allow me to meet my basic needs and live with dignity.
