Help Build God’s House in Kiambu, Kenya
In June 2019, Pastor Robert started Worship City Church as a small Bible study fellowship in his apartment in Kiambu, Kenya. Within just two months, the group grew so large that it could no longer fit in his home. Stepping out in faith, Pastor Robert rented a piece of land, sold his car to buy a tent, and even took a bank loan—alongside generous contributions from family and friends—to purchase seats, a sound system, and other essentials needed to establish the church in its new location.
Through this ministry, thousands have given their lives to Christ, and countless others have been transformed by the power of the Gospel. The church became a beacon of hope, with daily evangelism and revival meetings drawing multitudes.
However, six months later, the wealthy neighbors in Njathaini Road grew uneasy with the crowds coming from surrounding communities. In January 2020, Pastor Robert was abruptly ordered to vacate the property by the end of the month.
But God had a greater plan.
In February 2020, a local coffee farmer felt led by the Lord to donate a portion of his land to Pastor Robert for the church. Obedient to God’s call, Pastor Robert sold his only remaining vehicle—a pickup truck—to prepare the land, build a toilet, and purchase a 40ft container to serve as an office and storage space.
As the church grew in its new location, so did the needs of the community. Many came daily seeking food, school fees, and other basic necessities. Touched by their struggles, Pastor Robert’s friends joined him in raising funds to support these families.
Now, Pastor Robert is stepping out in faith once again. He has given sacrificially—even taking on personal debt—to sustain the ministry and serve those in need. Now, he is trusting God to provide the resources needed to construct a permanent church building in Kiambu, a place where lives will continue to be transformed for generations to come.
