My name is Tition Kachangwi, a 60-year-old female, born and raised in the northern parts of Kenya to a nomadic family that moved constantly searching for pastures and water for their animals.
I spent most of my childhood herding the cattle, until my teenage when I got initiated into adulthood and immediately married off. I spent the rest of my life raising my children and serving my husband who later passed away as a result of heart complications.
I am now left to fend for my family, even when our source of livelihood has been greatly affected by the long droughts in recent years. Currently, my source of income is irregular as I mainly depend on scarce manual jobs to fend for my family.
I am kindly seeking your support to set up a small but sustainable livelihood income-generating activity (IGA) to live a better life.
