My name is Polis Nadungungop Kesier, a 63 years old lady born and raised in the northern parts of Kenya to a nomadic family which moved constantly with their animals in search of pasture and water. I spent most of my childhood herding my dads cattle until the time when I was initiated into adulthood and got married off. I spent the rest of my years raising my kids until the death of my husband. Things have also changed a lot in the recent years due to loss of our animals which is our primary source of livelihood due to long droughts. This has left me struggling to secure manual jobs in order to fend for my family. I am appealing for support in order to live a better life .
