I'm Leiyetano, a 62-year-old woman from northern Kenya. Raised in a nomadic family, I never received a formal education due to herding responsibilities. I married young and devoted my life to my family. Our community relies on livestock, but recent droughts wiped out our animals, forcing me to take scarce manual jobs to survive. I appeal to well-wishers for support to access; healthcare, better nutrition and start a sustainable livelihood source for my family.
