My name is Mugure, a 50-year-old single mother from Kiambu County, Kenya. I rely on manual jobs in the coffee plantations to support my family of four children, two of whom have Cerebral Palsy. After losing my husband, I have faced the challenge of providing for my family alone. The income from these jobs is insufficient to cover my children's school fees, and I am unable to fund my son Samuel's college education with my limited resources. I am appealing for support from well-wishers to help me break the cycle of poverty and ensure a brighter future for my family. My goal is to establish a small family business, a grocery shop, which will provide sustenance for us and create a foundation for my children's education. I firmly believe that education is crucial for unlocking opportunities that will shape their future. This support will also improve our access to food security, nutrition, and healthcare, ultimately enhancing the quality of our lives.
