My name is Marion. I am 80 years old and was born and raised in northern Kenya.

I come from a nomadic family that moved often in search of pasture and water for our animals. Most of my life has been spent caring for my husband and children. Sadly, my husband passed away a few years ago.

For many years, I depended on livestock for my livelihood. However, due to the effects of climate change and prolonged droughts, I recently lost all my animals.

Today, my family and I are struggling to make ends meet. At my age, I am still forced to rely on the few manual jobs I can find just to survive. Access to healthcare is also very limited due to a lack of resources.

I am kindly asking for your support to help me start a small but sustainable income-generating activity. This would help me live a more stable and dignified life, and allow me to better care for my family.
