My name is Leyasi Korio Lemanyaas, a 68 year old man born and raised in the northern part of Kenya to a nomadic family which moved constantly searching for pasture for their cattle. I spent my childhood herding the cattle. I therefore didn't get a chance to attend formal education. As an adult , I took part in pastoralism as a way of livelihood. Things recently changed to the worse due to unpredictable rainfall patterns in the area. This has caused prolonged drought which has caused loss of cattle hence contributing to tough economic times. I am appealing for your support in order to get through this tough situation and smile again.
